Narrative Shorts

Shorts are fun and a lot less resource intensive than features or series. Many of these shorts were produced when I was an employee of the Center for the Cinematic Arts, a company that made original short films for actors looking for material for their reels. So we got to do some really creative stuff. Every show on this page was written, directed, and edited by Hank Jacobs, the exception being Husband and Wife Swap, written by Paul Plunkett, and the No Choice Meals spoof. Most were shot by the brilliant Eduardo Servello.

Many of the dramatic shorts are inappropriate for younger viewers, due to graphic simulated violence and adult situations.
